There are a couple ways to make your lines thinner or thicker in your printout.
If you drew your pattern in the Designer, you'll get the best results sizing the design and its lines there:
- Load your design.
- From the page where you can enter the size, click Customize then Designer.
- Click Select All.
- Set the width & height. You may need to uncheck the Proportional box first.
- Adjust the line thickness.
- Click Save and then Print.
If you didn't draw your design in the Designer, then in the step where you enter the size, choose custom width from the Lines options. It's off by default because it can distort your design.
If the design isn't already black & white with somewhat clear lines, you should first put it through the Ink Saver or Picture Stencil tools so the software has a chance of seeing the lines accurately.
Line width options:
- unchanged: Doesn't do anything to the lines. They'll grow proportional to the enlargement.
- custom width: Changes lines to the desired width.
- custom width (vector): Vectorizes (traces) your design first. This has the advantage of smoother lines but can cause more distortion.
- smooth (vector): Also vectorizes your design first but only to keep the line edges smooth in the enlargement. It doesn't affect the width.
