On the webpage where you enter the size, you can click the Options button below to reveal more settings.

There you can force the orientation to landscape or portrait. Make sure to use the same setting later when your resizing is sent to your printer.

You can also change the page margin. Unless your printer has been setup to print borderless, you do need to have a bit of a margin. The safe default is 0.5".
